BasicAn attack with up to 4 sequences that deals Physical DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 25 Stagger. Kit Analysis
Strengths
- + Versatile support capabilities
- + High survivability
- + Strong stagger application
- + Vulnerability application
- + Team shielding and healing
Weaknesses
- − Not specialized in any single role
- − Lower damage output compared to dedicated DPS
- − Requires specific team compositions to maximize effectiveness
Team Compositions
F2P Friendly team focused on Vulnerable applications
Akekuri highly benefits from the increased stagger Ember can apply to enemies, but you can also replace her with other options depending on your availability, such as Catcher, Ardelia, Gilberta, Lifeng or Pogranichnik.
Variation with Lifeng and Chen for Vulnerable applications
Another variation of the above team that uses Lifeng and Chen for Vulnerable applications and Endministrator to burst. Due to fact all characters can apply Physical Status on the enemy, you can use Swordmancer on all 4 operators and deal a lot of extra stagger to enemies. Ember can also make better use of Sundered Prince for maximum stagger application.
Insights
Summary
Ember is a 6‑star Defender who mixes tanking, healing, shielding, stagger, and Physical damage, serving as a flexible support that can sustain the team while controlling enemies.
Playstyle
She thrives when actively engaging foes to trigger her combo heal and stagger effects, using leap slams to protect allies and unleashing a team‑wide shield with her ultimate, while keeping up basic attacks for SP recovery and burst finishers.
Difficulty
MediumPros
- +Provides damage, healing, shielding, stagger, and vulnerability in one kit
- +High survivability from Defender class and self‑heal on combo
- +Strong stagger application enables teammates to burst
- +Vulnerability application boosts Physical dealers
- +Team shield scales with her Max HP, offering flexible protection
Cons
- −Not optimized for any single role, lacking extreme specialization
- −Lower raw DPS compared to dedicated damage dealers
- −Effectiveness depends on team composition that can exploit her stagger/vulnerability
- −Shield value is directly tied to HP investment
Tips
- Use Frontline Support when low on HP to heal while knocking down enemies
- Time Re‑Ignited Oath before incoming burst windows to maximize shield value
- Land basic attacks near staggered enemies to trigger the finisher for extra damage and SP
- Take damage during Forward March’s cast to gain additional stagger on the slam
- Equip Swordmancer gear to amplify stagger from Physical hits
Common Mistakes
- !Missing the finisher condition (basic attack near staggered) wastes SP and damage
- !Prioritizing damage over her heal/shield/stall utility reduces team survivability
- !Under‑investing in HP diminishes the potency of her ultimate shield
- !Neglecting Will stat lowers the healing received from Frontline Support
- !Failing to coordinate with allies who benefit from stagger or vulnerability
Synergy Notes
- Allies that apply Physical status (e.g., Chen Qianyu, Lifeng) gain from her stagger and vulnerability
- Shield‑reliant characters (e.g., Endministrator) benefit from her HP‑based team shield
- Burst DPS that can capitalize on staggered enemies (e.g., Akekuri) increase overall team damage
