Wuthering Waves 3.7: Plan Your Pulls Before Chisa and Iuno Leave on October 22

Wuthering Waves 3.7 does not let you take your time. Two new limited 5-Star Resonators, Chisa and Iuno, are on separate banners right now, and both leave the game on 2026-10-22 at 09:59 server time. Every Featured Convene tied to this version shuts down at that same moment, so the decision window is measured in days, not weeks.

This is not a rerun, and there is no second chance later. Once the event ends, neither character is obtainable through any other means. That is the part worth sitting with before you convert a single Astrite.

The deadline that should drive your plan

Mark 2026-10-22 at 09:59 server time. The Resonator banners, both weapon banners, and the Afterglow Coral Store Waveband offers all close together. If you want Chisa’s or Iuno’s Waveband, buy it before then, and remember the store caps you at two per character.

Eligibility is worth checking early too. You need Union Level 5, a completed combat trial in First Resonance, or access through Main Quest Fast Track. None of that is automatic if you started recently.

Chisa and Iuno: two limited picks, one shared pity

Chisa runs on Horizon of Dawnbreak. Her banner is the only place she appears, and her Waveband shows up in the Afterglow Coral Store with a purchase limit of two during the event. Iuno runs on Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes under the same rules, including the same two-purchase Waveband cap.

Both Resonator banners spend Radiant Tide, and they share a 5-Star guarantee. That shared count carries over until a 5-Star actually drops, so a near-pity session on Chisa is never wasted if Iuno is your real target. A 4-Star or better is guaranteed every 10 pulls on either banner.

Three 4-Star Resonators get boosted rates on both: Buling, Taoqi, and Youhu. All three also appear as Trial Resonators in Ascendant Aces, where the trials hand out rewards, so you can test them before committing.

The weapon banners are a different bet

Each Resonator brings a signature weapon. Kumokiri sits on its own banner and Moongazer’s Sigil on another, and both run on Forging Tide rather than Radiant Tide. The 4-Star weapons with boosted rates on both are Fusion Accretion, Commando of Conviction, and Dauntless Evernight.

The weapon banners also share a guarantee count that carries over until you get a 5-Star weapon. The better news is that there is no 50/50 here. When a 5-Star weapon drops, it is the featured one, every time. For anyone who wants a specific signature and has Forging Tide saved, this is the most predictable spending in the game right now.

Who should actually pull

Chisa is a reasonable pull if you want a fresh 5-Star and her kit clicks with you, or if you already have Kumokiri waiting. Iuno makes more sense if she fits a team you already run, or if you collect time-themed and support-oriented Resonators and have enough Radiant Tide to reach pity without endangering future plans.

The weapon banners are worth touching when you own the matching Resonator. A signature weapon is a large power jump, and the guaranteed featured 5-Star removes the worst-case outcome.

Skip both if you are saving for a future 5-Star, if your Tide reserves cannot reach pity, or if the boosted 4-Stars do not interest you. There is nothing wrong with holding.

Before you spend, run this checklist

Check your pity. The shared Resonator guarantee carries over, so know exactly how many pulls separate you from a 5-Star.
Confirm eligibility. Union Level 5, the First Resonance combat trial, or Main Quest Fast Track.
Convert Astrite into Radiant Tide or Forging Tide before the banners end. Unspent pulls are the only thing that counts here.
Buy Afterglow Coral Wavebands early if you plan to. Limit of two per character, and the store offer ends with the event.
Run the Ascendant Aces trials for rewards and a feel for the kits.

There is not much to report yet. Official materials include no community reactions and no developer stream tied to these banners, so theorycrafting will have to fill the gap after release. Expect the usual team-building discussion to show up in the days after the version goes live.

Team notes worth keeping in mind

Official materials do not detail specific teams for Chisa or Iuno. Their signature weapons are built around their kits, but beyond that, the synergy work is on players. Until the math shakes out, the boosted 4-Stars are the safe pairing. Buling, Taoqi, and Youhu can hold a slot while you figure out the real composition.

What we still do not know

Official materials say nothing about what comes after these two banners, or about Version 3.8. The “save for” case is genuinely unclear, which is unusual. If you are a planner, that ambiguity is a reason to hold your Tide until the next official announcement rather than spend on a character you are lukewarm about.
