Jiyan stands out as a top-tier DPS unit, capable of unleashing devastating single-target and AoE damage to annihilate any enemy in the game. His Ultimate ability also serves as a valuable crowd control tool, grouping smaller enemies for easy elimination. With the introduction of Whimpering Wastes, Jiyan's value has increased, making him a versatile unit to have in your arsenal.

Yinlin is an exceptional sub-DPS unit, offering bonuses to Liberation DMG and Electro DMG, as well as executing coordinated Electro attacks for additional damage. This enables Yinlin to deal damage even when off-field, further enhancing her value as a valuable team member.

Changli is a formidable main-DPS unit, capable of dealing massive amounts of Fusion damage with her fully-stacked Forte Circuit. She can also self-buff her ATK after using her Ultimate, allowing her to deal even more damage. While she can take on a sub-DPS role, it's generally not recommended, as she excels as a main DPS and can dominate on-field time.

Xiangli Yao is a highly effective main DPS unit, slowing down enemy movement and dealing significant damage to enemies when used correctly. He relies heavily on Resonance Liberation DMG, making him a great fit with characters, weapons, or Echoes that buff this stat.

Roccia is an outstanding Havoc sub-DPS unit, providing increases to both Basic Attack and Havoc DMG. She also has access to a useful grouping utility, making it easy for your DPS to decimate hordes of enemies. However, she thrives primarily in Havoc teams, limiting her team composition flexibility.

Brant is a versatile Fusion character who can provide team-wide buffs and sustain without sacrificing personal damage, thanks to his ability to convert ER to Attack. He pairs well with Changli, but F2P teams focusing on Basic Attacks and Resonance Skills can also benefit from his Outro Skill and Forte Circuit.

Sanhua is one of the best sub-DPS units in the game, offering Basic Attack DMG Deepen for 14 seconds to the next character who takes the field. She also deals respectable damage, but relies on detonating ice structures using her Heavy Attacks.

Calcharo is a powerful Electro main-DPS unit, capable of dishing out significant Electro damage with both his Skill and Liberation. The introduction of Yinlin has further enhanced his value, making him an even more formidable force on the battlefield.

Encore is an exceptional Fusion DPS unit, focusing on pure damage without any concerns. When she enters Cosmos Rave, she unleashes an insane amount of Fusion DMG. However, her Cosmos Rave state lacks crowd control, making her vulnerable to damage if not managed carefully.

Rover (Spectro) is a jack-of-all-trades unit, providing great sub-DPS capabilities with her time stop Outro Skill and high-damage Resonance Liberation. However, this versatility has caused her to fall behind other characters with more defined roles in the meta.

Rover (Havoc) is a great damage dealer, allowing for easy activation of her Dark Surge state. She excels at dealing burst damage thanks to her Resonance Liberation, but her Basic Attack is where she truly shines. To maximize her potential, it's essential to hone your dodging skills and make the most of her Basic Attack damage during Dark Surge.

Cantarella is a valuable Havoc character who provides a lot to different teams, making her a premium choice for Mono Havoc Teams. She enables the use of a second sub-DPS instead of a support character, thanks to her healing and sustain kit. She also amplifies Resonance and Havoc DMG, making her a flexible buffer for various DPS units.

Mortefi is a 4-star unit who can deal damage even when off-field, thanks to his coordinated Fusion attacks. His value increases significantly when the on-field DPS uses Heavy Attacks, making him a great addition to many teams.

Danjin is a great DPS unit for F2P players, capable of dealing massive damage as long as her HP-drain mechanic is managed properly. This requires careful player skill, especially when facing tougher enemies.

Jianxin is a solid middle ground between main and sub-DPS units, capable of holding her own as a main DPS with grouping and AoE damage. Her Outro Skill also buffs Resonance Liberation DMG, making her a great sub-DPS option. However, her versatility has caused her to fall behind other characters with more defined roles in the meta.

Rover (Aero) currently suffers from a limited character pool that can fully utilize her kit. As of Version 2.2, her primary role is that of a support with sub-par damage dealing capabilities. However, she is likely to increase in value with the addition of more characters and mechanics to the game.

Aalto is a decent sub-DPS unit who can buff Aero DMG while dealing respectable damage. However, he is outclassed by other sub-DPS units like Mortefi, who can deal damage even when off-field.

Yuanwu is a sub-DPS unit who can follow up with coordinated Electro DMG even when off-field. He can also reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, but this only applies if the enemy is within the circle of effect, making it easily avoidable by mobile enemies.

Baizhi is a pure healer who can be used when the Shorekeeper and Verina are not available. She can burst-heal using her Resonance Skill and Liberation, as well as continuously heal and buff the next character who takes the field. However, her buffs only apply to the next character, limiting the flow of switching when using Baizhi.

Youhu is a healer-support hybrid who can provide multiple buffs and effects in battle, from healing to vibration strength depletion efficiency. However, her kit-based RNG system makes her buffs extremely inconsistent, and her Outro Skill only buffs the incoming resonator's Coordinated Attack, making her value decrease.

Lumi is a sub-DPS unit who can provide Resonance Skill DMG Amplification via her Outro Skill. Her kit is straightforward, with good multipliers for her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation. However, her damage falls off when using Basic Attacks with her two Light Modes.

Lingyang is currently outclassed by his standard 5-star peers, especially those with great AoE damage capabilities. He lacks a dedicated Glacio support, and his damage has been subpar compared to other main DPS units in the game.

Yangyang is the first free 4-star character, providing decent damage and utility with her Aero grouping. However, she falls off immediately once better sub-DPS units with DMG buffs are unlocked.

Chixia is a DPS unit who excels against hordes of enemies due to her mobility and ease of use. She can take on single-target bosses with ease, as long as she can reposition and evade properly. However, her benefit decreases when dealing with mobs of enemies, as she can be easily mobbed if not careful.

Taoqi has found a new sub-DPS role with the introduction of Jinhsi, providing Resonance Skill amplification and quick-switch damage with her Resonance Liberation. However, her split scaling with her Forte and Shields remains a glaring issue, making her a less desirable choice.
