Iuno is an exceptional Aero Sub-DPS capable of amplifying Heavy Attack DMG, healing HP, regenerating stamina, and dealing non-negligible personal damage. She is one of the most flexible units in the game, though she lacks free-to-play weapon options and her kit is maximized with shield generator DPS units.

Chisa is the universal Negative Status Support unit, able to increase the max stack count for all status effects while providing multiple DEF reductions against enemies. Her value comes from her flexibility to maximize any Negative Status effect, seeing significant value in Havoc Bane, Glacio Chafe, Fusion Burst, and Aero Erosion setups.

Lynae is a very strong sub-DPS unit who fits into many teams thanks to her general buffs: All DMG Bonus and Amplification via Liberation and Outro. She is a driver for Tune Break, deals good damage, and has great utility with roller skates for exploration.

Mornye is a strong healer support unit, performing similarly to Shorekeeper with utility, buffs, and sustain. She provides All DMG amplification, enhances Off-Tune Buildup Rate, increases enemy DMG taken, and offers DEF stats, interruption resistance, and enhanced healing.

Aemeath is a meta-defining DPS character, the premier damage dealer for two different team comps: Tune Rupture or Fusion Burst. She has one of the highest damage ceilings in the game, can apply and consume Fusion Burst, inflict Tune Rupture, and amplify All DMG types for allies with her Outro.

Hiyuki is one of the strongest DPS units in the game and the best in Glacio, with high DMG multipliers and amazing coverage for both utility and self-buffing. She can apply and utilize Glacio Chafe stacks on her own, and has AoE crowd-control, damage negation, and strong nuke attacks.

Denia is a strong sub-DPS capable of exemplifying two main archetypes: Fusion Burst and Tune Strain. She is an applicator and buffer to Fusion Burst and a Tune Break Boost buffer to Tune Strain. She has fast rotations, deploys an Erosion Field for off-field damage, and provides crowd-control.

Lucilla is a versatile sub-DPS who fits into two of the strongest compositions. In Glacio Chafe Mode, she is an amazing stack applicator and provides significant buffs. In Echo Skill Mode, she is one of the best sub-DPS options, with good damage and fast rotations.

Yangyang Xuanling is a strong Havoc DPS that scales off Heavy Attack DMG, boasting high DMG multipliers and self-buffs when Havoc Bane is applied. She is flexible and can be paired with most Heavy Attack DMG buffers, and can reduce enemies' DEF on her own.

Suisui is the premier Negative Status healer, providing a similar playstyle to Shorekeeper but specifically for this niche. Her kit provides 50% ATK boost, 25% All DMG Amplification, and 12% Total DMG increase for other characters, with fast and easy rotations.

Qingxiao is a very strong Tune Strain DPS with the Aero attribute, but requires multiple premium units like Denia, Lynae, and Mornye to work. She provides a lot of AoE DPS in most game modes, but can suffer in wave-based content due to Tune Strain's ramp-up time.

Jingran is one of the best Fusion DPS units upon release, with extremely high DMG potential due to huge self-buffing and high DMG multipliers. His unique max HP scaling provides 200% Fusion DMG Bonus, 1800 ATK, and increased Heavy Attack multipliers, though he requires a high 50,000 HP stat.

Hsin is a strong Electro DPS that can switch between Electro Flare and Unison modes. Both archetypes feature different compositions, though she only requires one build. She is very flexible for team-building, with Electro Flare being budget-friendly and Unison offering a dual DPS system.

Verina provides both healing and buffs for your entire party using her entire kit. She also periodically does coordinated attacks that deal Spectro DMG while healing the active character. She lacks Crit buffs but has short on-field time, valuable for DPS units requiring field time.

Ciaccona is an Aero character that provides great buffing and debuffing capabilities. She can apply multiple instances of Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle, making her a very versatile unit that works in multiple teams.

Cartethyia is a strong Aero DPS character but suffers a bit with long rotations and high investment requirements. She can deal a lot of damage and apply Aero Erosion herself, but is weaker without a dedicated applicator. At higher investments, she remains one of the strongest units.

Lupa is the premier Fusion DMG enabler, bringing Fusion teams to new heights with multiple Fusion DMG buffs that apply to the whole team. However, she is quite limited in team building as she requires all three Resonators to be Fusion.

Phrolova is a Havoc DPS that scales off Resonance Skill and Echo Skill DMG. She can be flexible due to her off-field capabilities, but needs heavy investment and her signature weapon to reach full potential. When fully invested, she performs extremely well in multi-wave content.

Augusta is a top-tier Electro DPS character that dishes out high Heavy Attack DMG with her combos. She can stop time for seven seconds with her Liberation, pausing timers for abilities and end-game content. She is low-investment and F2P-friendly.

Galbrena is a strong Fusion DPS with a few caveats. Her kit has split scaling between Echo Skill DMG and Heavy Attack DMG, with Echo Skill DMG being a bigger portion. She can fit in many teams but can't be fully maximized without her signature weapon.

Qiuyuan is the premier Echo Skill DMG buffer, taking only a few seconds for his rotation to pass on buffs. His combos are straightforward and deal okay damage as a sub-DPS. His main value comes from buffing capabilities and Crit DMG buff to the next Resonator.

Luuk Herssen is a general standard Spectro DPS unit that exemplifies the Tune Strain mechanic. He boosts his damage by inflicting and utilizing Tune Strain stacks. His playstyle revolves around mid-air combos, offering serious damage if executed effectively.

Sigrika is a hypercarry unit that plays well into the Echo Skill DMG archetype. She requires some investment due to lack of supports and weapons for this DMG type, but has some of the highest DMG multipliers and great crowd control utility.

Jiyan is a great DPS unit that can deal amazing single-target and AoE damage. His Ultimate can group smaller enemies for crowd control. With Whimpering Wastes, he found a niche that increased his value, making him a versatile unit.

A great Spectro Main-DPS character that deals a big amount of burst damage with her Skill and Resonance Liberation. Her multipliers are quite high for a 1.x DPS, though her age shows when compared to newer units.

Carlotta is a strong Glacio DPS unit capable of consistent burst damage that scales off her Resonance Skill. She works perfectly with Zhezhi, who amplifies both Resonance Skill and Glacio DMG. However, she has fallen off in recent patches.

Phoebe is a hybrid Spectro DPS unit capable of good Spectro DMG as long as the enemy is affected by Spectro Frazzle. While not on Zani's level, she performs well and can be a sub-DPS Spectro Frazzle applicator. Her best role is premier Spectro Frazzle Sub-DPS.

Cantarella is a Havoc character that provides a lot to different teams and is premium for Mono Havoc Teams. She provides Resonance and Havoc DMG amplification, deals extra damage with off-field coordinated attacks, and is the most important character in Phrolova teams.

Zani is a niche Spectro DPS utilizing Spectro Frazzle compositions to maximize damage. She requires a dedicated Frazzle applicator due to not applying stacks on her own. Her best team revolves around quickswap with Phoebe and Spectro Rover.

Rebecca is a good sub-DPS unit capable of buffing Heavy Attack DPS characters while dealing good damage. Her playstyle involves two gun modes and she is the best partner for Lucy with their unique Hack Shifting mechanic. She is a free character from 3.4.

Lucy is a Main DPS who revolves around Heavy Attack DMG and unique Hack DMG to execute enemies. She provides decent crowd-control, smooth playstyle, and is a good cost-effective DPS who works with general supports and weapons.

Electro Rover is a general Negative Status sub-DPS, providing decent ATK and All-DMG buffs to characters that inflict Negative Status. They apply Electro Flare onto enemies and see new value in Electro Flare-centric teams with Hsin, Suisui, and Buling.

Sanhua is one of the best Sub-DPS in the game, providing Basic Attack DMG Deepen for 14s to the next character. She deals decent damage but relies on detonating ice structures with her Heavy Attacks.

Buling is a great 4-star support healer that applies Electro Flare onto enemies. She provides decent Resonance Skill DMG amplification and grouping capabilities, and is one of the fastest Supports in terms of rotation.

Calcharo is an Electro Main-DPS unit that can dish out a great amount of Electro damage with both his Skill and Liberation. With Yinlin, he has a great sub-DPS that pushes him to greater heights.

Encore is a good choice for a standard Fusion DPS. She focuses on pure damage but requires significant on-field time. When she enters Cosmos Rave, she deals great Fusion DMG, but she is quite squishy and lacks crowd control.

Rover (Spectro) performs well specifically in Spectro Frazzle teams due to their good application of the Negative Status. Outside of this, they don't provide much value but can be a substitute healer support at S4.

Rover (Havoc) is a decent damage dealer that allows for easy activation of Dark Surge state. They have okay burst damage with their Resonance Liberation, but their Basic Attack shines the most. Their interaction with Dreamless increases burst damage potential.

Changli is a main-DPS unit that can deal decent Fusion damage with her fully-stacked Forte Circuit in a quick-swap playstyle. She can self-buff her ATK after using her Liberation. Her best role is as a co-DPS with other units.

A great Sub-DPS unit that provides buffs to characters that scale off Resonance Skill, with bonus amplification of Glacio DMG. Her value mainly shines when paired with older DPS units such as Jinhsi and Carlotta.

A decent Main DPS unit that slows down enemy movement and deals good damage. He relies a lot on Resonance Liberation DMG. He sees some value in dual-DPS comps where he is quick-swapped during long animations.

Camellya is a good Havoc DPS unit capable of dishing out multiple AoE combos. She has access to a free Sub-DPS, making her team easy to build. However, her age shows when compared to modern Havoc units like Phrolova and Yangyang Xuanling.

Roccia is a Havoc Sub-DPS unit capable of providing increases to both Basic Attack and Havoc DMG. She has good grouping utility but requires long on-field time. She mostly thrives in Havoc teams, limiting her team composition.

Brant is a Fusion character that shows apparent age with long rotations and not-so-high DMG output. He fits into many Fusion teams but isn't that strong as a general buffer due to split-scaling buffs. He can provide sustain throughout rotations.

Rover (Aero) suffers from their kit being extremely limited to Aero Erosion teams. Their buffs are minimal and long rotations can be detrimental. However, they can increase Aero Erosion by 3 more stacks, providing good value as a free unit.

Mortefi has a mechanic that allows coordinated Fusion attacks to follow whenever you attack enemies. This ensures he deals damage even when off-field, increasing his value. His value increases more when the on-field DPS uses Heavy Attacks.

Baizhi is a pure-healer you can run when you don't have Shorekeeper and Verina. She can burst-heal and continuously heal and buff the next character for 36s. She also provides ATK boosts via her Inherent Skill. Her buffs only apply to the next character, limiting switching flow.

Danjin is a good DPS for free-to-play players, dealing good damage if you can manage her HP-drain mechanic. Player skill plays a big role in survival. She also performs as a sub-DPS in some Havoc teams, buffing other units via her Outro skill.

Lingyang is getting outclassed by his standard 5-star peers, especially those with great AoE damage. He lacks a dedicated Glacio support and his damage is subpar. However, he can still be viable in game modes like Endstate Matrix.

Yinlin is an older sub-DPS that provides bonuses for Liberation DMG and Electro DMG while sending out Electro coordinated attacks. Her value has dropped due to inconsistencies with her marks application in multi-wave content.

Aalto can be seen as a good Sub-DPS unit that can buff Aero DMG while dealing decent damage. However, he is outclassed by other Sub-DPS like Mortefi who deal damage even when off-field.

Yuanwu is a Sub-DPS unit that, similar to Mortefi, follows up with coordinated Electro DMG even when off-field. He can also reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, but only if the enemy is inside his circle of effect.

Chixia is a DPS unit that works well against hordes of enemies because of her mobility and ease of use. However, as a 4-star DPS, she lacks significant DMG multipliers to rival top units.

A Sub-DPS unit that can provide Resonance Skill DMG Amplification via her Outro Skill. Her kit is fairly straightforward. Her damage tends to fall off when doing Basic Attacks, but can deal okay damage when her Forte Circuit is full.

Jianxin finds middle ground in being both a Main and Sub-DPS, making her less ideal in most teams. She provides great grouping and Resonance Liberation DMG buffs, but lacks niche buffs. She has fallen off compared to characters with defined roles.

Yangyang is the first free 4-star character that all players get. She provides decent damage and utility with her Aero grouping, but falls off immediately once better Sub-DPS with DMG buffs are unlocked.

Taoqi provides Resonance Skill amplification while dishing quick-switch damage with her Resonance Liberation. Unfortunately, her split scaling of Forte and Shields makes her unideal in the meta that rewards niche gameplay.

A healer-support hybrid that can provide multiple buffs and effects from healing to vibration strength depletion efficiency. Unfortunately, the buffs are obtained by a kit-based RNG system that is extremely inconsistent. Her Outro Skill only buffs Coordinated Attack, which is niche.
