Phrolova, a Fractsidus Overseer walking the fine line between life and death, an uncanny, deadly conductor.
A silent wave of her baton is enough to attune the very frequencies of being and conduct the symphonies of "souls." The music of hers can sculpt a better world or, just as easily, summon a legion to wreak havoc.

Havoc Eclipse

The best echo composition for Phrolova is a combination of the Dream of the Lost & Havoc Eclipse echo sets. Dream of the Lost fits Phrolova like a glove considering it provides unconditional Crit Rate and Echo Skill DMG bonuses. Pair it with Havoc Eclipse for the extra Havoc DMG Bonus from the 2-pc effect.

Lingering Tunes

The second best echo composition for Phrolova is a combination of the Dream of the Lost & Lingering Tunes echo sets. Dream of the Lost fits Phrolova like a glove considering it provides unconditional Crit Rate and Echo Skill DMG bonuses. Lingering Tunes is also a viable 2-pc option as it increases ATK, but note that Phrolova has enough ATK boost within her kit that Havoc DMG Bonus must be the priority. In any case, you may use Lingering Tunes if you have enough echoes from this set.

Havoc Eclipse
5pc
Havoc Eclipse

Early game option but is largely eclipsed by the 3-pc Dream of the Lost. Be sure to replace this with Dream of the Lost as soon as you have access to Rinascita and Fabricatorium of the Deep.

Phrolova's Best Primary Echo

Nightmare: Hecate

Nightmare: Hecate

The definitive best-in-slot echo for Phrolova. Increases both Resonance Skill DMG and Echo Skill DMG which are the two stats that Phrolova heavily relies on.

Nightmare: Crownless

Nightmare: Crownless

A great echo to use in the main slot for a Phrolova that uses a 5-pc Havoc Eclipse set. Generally not very good, but is the best option within the Havoc Eclipse set. Replace with Nightmare: Hecate after transitioning to the 3-pc Dream of the Lost set.

Crownless

Crownless

Non-Nightmare option of the Crownless which is obtainable at the start of the game. Replace with Nightmare: Hecate or Nightmare: Crownless after reaching Rinascita or Fabricatorium of the Deep.

Best Tips & Tricks for Phrolova

Aim for as much Crit as possible, but be careful not to go over 100% Crit Rate as both Dream of the Lost and her signature weapon provide ample Crit Rate.
Use 3-pc Dream of the Lost combined with 2-pc Havoc Eclipse for best results.
Nightmare: Hecate is the best main echo; obtain it as soon as possible.

Best Teams for Phrolova

Phrolova Echo Skill DMG Team

Phrolova best performs with Qiuyuan and Cantarella, as this team is centered around boosting Echo Skill DMG and triggering Hecate's attacks with multiple Echo Skill casts. Qiuyuan is the premier buffer for Echo Skill teams and provides drastic improvements to the other characters' damage. Whereas, Cantarella will have more on-field time activating her skills, performing coordinated attacks, on top of activating Phrolova's off-field damage.

Start with Phrolova and generate Volatile Notes with her Basic Attack and Resonance Skill combos., Once her Volatile Notes count to 6, perform Scarlet Coda to enter the Resolving Chord state. Then, activate her Liberation to summon Hecate., Next, switch to Qiuyuan with Phrolova's Outro to amplify his Heavy Attack DMG., After Qiuyuan enters via his Intro, do two Basic Attacks to fill his Forte. Once done, cast his Echo Skill and Liberation to deal extra damage., With his Forte full, hold the Heavy Attack button to do his 3-attack string that consumes his stacks for extra damage. Then, cast his Resonance Skill and switch out to Cantarella via Outro., Upon entering, immediately cast Cantarella's Resonance Skill and Liberation to get max Trance stacks., Then, enter the Mirage state and do her ideal combos to Stagnate enemies and heal the team. Once her Outro is available, switch to Phrolova once again to buff her Havoc and Resonance Skill DMG., Repeat steps 1 to 7 to maximize Hecate's off-field attacks. Echo Skills empower its attacks, which Cantarella excels at doing.

Echo Skill Havoc Team

Phrolova shines with Cantarella and Roccia, highlighting Echo Skill usage and maximizing the Havoc attribute. Each unit works around the others, providing buffs to the succeeding unit on-field. One of the unique things in this team is that their kits are oriented towards using Echo Skills. Each team member provides some form of utility or damage and can cast multiple Echo Skills virtually impossible in other characters.

Start off with Phrolova on-field, quickly building up her Volatile Notes to six and immediately casting Scarlet Coda once available., As she performs Scarlet Coda, she will enter the Resolving Chord state. During this time, you can activate her Liberation to summon Hecate and control her in the Maestro state., During Maestro state, switch out to Roccia with Phrolova's Outro to buff her Havoc DMG and Heavy Attack DMG., Next, do Roccia's optimal rotations and maximize her Imagination stacks to execute three Plunge Attacks and generate Concerto. Cast her Liberation to provide a party-wide ATK buff then switch to Cantarella., With Cantarella on-field, immediately cast her Resonance Skill and Liberation to fill her Trance stacks quickly., Then, enter her Mirage state and do her internal combos to Stagnate enemies. Once her Outro is available, switch to Phrolova to buff her Havoc and Resonance Skill DMG., You may repeat steps 1 through 6 as Hecate performs its attacks off-field. Echo Skills empower its attacks, so cast them with Roccia and Cantarella when possible.

Phrolova Hypercarry Team

Phrolova may be run as a hypercarry unit, undoubtedly still best paired with Cantarella. While any sub-DPS unit can be used to buff her Havoc or Resonance Skill DMG, she will suffer from DPS loss due to not being able to constantly trigger Hecate's enhanced attacks which is only possible with multiple Echo Skill casts - something Cantarella excels at. As for support units, Shorekeeper is the most ideal due to her innate buffing and healing potential, but she may be replaced with any alternative support character.

Start off with Phrolova and build up her Volatile Notes through Basic Attack and Resonance Skill combos., With six Volatile Notes, perform Scarlet Coda and enter the Resolving Chord state. Perform her Liberation during this time to summon Hecate., As Hecate is summoned, Phrolova can control its performance. Switch to Shorekeeper when Outro is available., Have Shorekeeper on-field and perform her optimal combos to fill her Concerto quickly. Activate her Stellarealm and switch out to Cantarella when her Intro is available., As Cantarella enters the field, fill up her Trance stacks quickly with Resonance Skill and Liberation. Then, you may cast a Heavy Attack to enter the Mirage state., In Mirage, cast her Resonance Skill and her Basic Attack Combo to deal damage and suspend enemies in the air. Then, switch out to Phrolova when her Intro is available., From here, you may repeat steps 1 to 6 until all enemies are defeated. Each rotation after the first will maximize Stellarealm's detonation mechanic.

Double Echo Skill DPS Team

Phrolova works well in a double DPS setup revolving around the Echo Skill DMG composition, together with Sigrika and Qiuyuan. The bulk of Phrolova's damage is dealt off-field, so Sigrika can take her time on-field. Do note that Sigrika's skills only scale off Echo Skill DMG and are not considered Echo Skill casts. This means that only Qiuyuan and the Echo Skills of all three characters can proc Hecate's off-field attacks.

Begin combat with Phrolova and build up her Volatile Notes with three Basic Attacks and her Resonance Skill combos., Once six Volatile Notes are available, hold Heavy Attack to perform Scarlet Coda and enter the Resolving Chord state. In this state, activate her Liberation and summon Hecate., With Hecate now on-field, switch to Qiuyuan via Outro., As Qiuyuan enters via his Intro, do two Basic Attacks to fill his Swordster's Soliloquy Forte. Once done, cast Echo Skill and Liberation to deal extra damage to enemies., With his Forte full full, hold the Heavy Attack button to do his 3-attack string that consumes his stacks for extra damage. Then, cast his Resonance Skill and switch out to Sigrika via Outro., As Sigrika enters the field via Intro, quickly cast Echo Skill and three Basic Attacks., Then, cast Resonance Skill to generate two Runes. Afterwards, perform a Heavy Attack to fill half her Forte bar followed by her Resonance Liberation., Next, do five Basic Attacks to gain two Rune stacks. Then, do an empowered Heavy Attack once available., After casting two Heavy Attacks, hold Resonance Skill to charge it. Once the instance of damage is dealt, you can switch back to Phrolova with Outro., Repeat until no enemies are left.

Phrolova Double DPS Team

A double DPS setup is a viable option for Phrolova due to her Heavy Attack DMG amplification that Augusta greatly benefits from, together with Shorekeeper that boosts the team's overall damage with her general buffs.

Start off with Shorekeeper and go through her internal rotations to build up her Resonance and Concerto gauges. Then, activate Stellarealm and switch to Phrolova when her Intro is available., Generate six Volatile Notes via Phrolova's Basic Attack and Resonance Skill combos. Once six Volatile Notes are available, perform Scarlet Coda and enter the Resolving Chord state., Perform her Liberation during the Resolving Chord state. As Hecate is summoned, Phrolova can control its performance. Switch to Augusta when Outro is available., With Augusta on-field, quickly perform her Prowess-enhanced Heavy Attacks then cast Echo Skill to deal Electro DMG., Activate her Resonance Skill and Liberation, followed by more Heavy Attacks to bring her Ascendancy to 100., Next, cast her Forte-enhanced Resonance Skill combo. Once she is able to do her Forte Plunge, hold Liberation and enter Sworn Allegiance., Time stops for 7 seconds. During this time, attack 9 times with Sunborne slashes then cast Everbright Protector., Lastly, switch to Shorekeeper to finally detonate Stellarealm., Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Phrolova F2P Team

Phrolova may be played into an F2P team with significant tradeoffs to her own DPS, due to the lack of buffs and Echo Skill activation that triggers her Hecate Attacks. That said, you may still run her with another Havoc DPS to be the On-Field DPS, while Phrolova deals Off-Field DMG. Danjin is a strong 4-star unit that can deal a good amount of Havoc DMG onto enemies, as long as you can balance out her HP drain. On the other hand, Buling is one of the best 4-star units to have with Phrolova, since she gives heals, buffs to Resonance Skill DMG, and Electro Flare periodic DMG.

Start combat with Buling and generate a Thunder Over Mountain trigram sequence via 4 Basic Attacks and a Heavy Attack., Then, cast her Resonance Skill and a Basic Attack, followed by another Heavy Attack to now generate the Twin Thunders trigram sequence., With both sequences available, cast her empowered Liberation which inflicts Electro Flare and a Resonance Skill DMG Boost. Once Concerto is full, switch to Phrolova., As Phrolova, generate six Volatile Notes via her Basic Attack and Resonance Skill combos., Once six Volatile Notes are available, hold Heavy Hattack to perform Scarlet Coda and enter the Resolving Chord state., In this state, perform her Liberation and summon Hecate. Then, switch to Danjin via her Outro., Using Danjin's on-field time, maximize her damage using her combos to build up her Forte. Make sure to cast Echo skill to proc Hecate's attacks., After activating her Forte and Liberation, switch back to Buling., You may repeat the rotation until all enemies are defeated., Make sure to cast Echo Skills whenever each Resonator is on-field to trigger Hecate's enhanced attacks.

Alternative Phrolova Teams

Phrolova can still work in some team comps due to her attacks dealing good damage even while off-field. She can be paired with characters that buff Resonance Skill or Havoc DMG and act as any hypercarry unit with a dedicated support. That said, the enhanced attacks from Hecate will only be triggered twice in any of these teams because of the limited Echo Skill casts, amounting to a pretty big DPS loss compared to her other teams.
