Best Echo Sets for Rover: Spectro

Moonlit Clouds
5pc
Moonlit Clouds

Moonlit Clouds is Rover (Spectro)'s best-in-slot Echo set. Combined with Impermanence Heron it maximizes the team's DPS by buffing the Main DPS and helps with Energy Regen to improve Resonance Liberation uptime.

Eternal Radiance
5pc
Eternal Radiance

Eternal Radiance is a damage-oriented option that scales off Rover and synergizes with Spectro Frazzle. It deals more personal damage, making it less ideal than Moonlit Clouds for a support/sub-DPS role, but still solid if you want Rover to contribute more damage.

Rejuvenating Glow
5pc
Rejuvenating Glow

Niche support option that leans into healing. Starting at S4 Rover gains some healing capability from their Liberation, so this set is useful for a dedicated support/heal playstyle where Rover applies Spectro Frazzle and heals before swapping.

Rover: Spectro's Best Primary Echo

Impermanence Heron

Impermanence Heron

Ideal for Spectro Rover as a supportive Main Echo. Place this on the main slot to buff the Main DPS as much as possible. Best option when using the Moonlit Clouds set.

Nightmare: Mourning Aix

Nightmare: Mourning Aix

Passively increases Rover (Spectro)'s Spectro DMG and increases damage dealt to enemies inflicted by Spectro Frazzle. Effects are passive (no activation required). Good when pairing with damage-oriented echo sets.

Fallacy of No Return

Fallacy of No Return

Works with a support-oriented Spectro Rover build and pairs well with Rejuvenating Glow; provides extra team buffs for a more supportive playstyle.

Best Tips & Tricks for Rover: Spectro

Rover (Spectro) is best built as a sub-DPS to apply Spectro Frazzle and buff the main DPS rather than be the primary damage dealer.
Prioritize Energy Regen on echoes (and main stats) to improve Resonance Liberation uptime; Spectro DMG pieces are useful but can be secondary after securing energy.
Upgrade Resonance Liberation first, then Forte Circuit and Normal Attack, followed by Resonance Skill; Intro Skill is lowest priority.
After the Version 2.0 prologue update, Resonating Spin (Forte use of Resonance Skill) also applies Spectro Frazzle and Shimmer, which prevents Frazzle decay—this improves Frazzle uptime and consistency.
Starting at S4 Rover gains some healing from Liberation, enabling Rejuvenating Glow as a niche supportive set if you want healing utility.
Balance CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG; aim to equip two Spectro DMG pieces while playing through the game.

Best Teams for Rover: Spectro

Spectro Frazzle Team

This team centers around Rover applying Spectro Frazzle stacks while Zani (or Phoebe) functions as the dedicated DPS. Shorekeeper provides healing, Stellarealm buffs, and improved sustain.

Start the battle with Shorekeeper and use her abilities to charge her Resonance Liberation. Use it to summon her Stellarealm., Once the Concerto Gauge is maxed, switch to Rover (Spectro) to trigger their Intro Skill and upgrade the Stellarealm., As Rover (Spectro), use Basic and Heavy Attacks to charge the Forte Gauge to at least half-full while building Spectro Frazzle on enemies., Use Rover's Resonance Skill with at least half Forte to apply more Spectro Frazzle and the Shimmer debuff., Cast Resonance Liberation to deal damage and apply additional Spectro Frazzle, then cast another enhanced Resonance Skill., When Rover's Outro Skill becomes available, switch to Zani to take advantage of the crowd-control and deal damage that scales off Spectro Frazzle stacks., Use Zani's optimal combos while she is on-field to maximize damage from the Frazzle debuffs., After Zani's internal rotation, switch back to Shorekeeper to detonate Stellarealm. Repeat the rotation until enemies are defeated.

Rover Main DPS Early Game Team

Early-game team built to carry players before obtaining a 5-star Main DPS. Yangyang helps charge Rover's energy and Baizhi acts as a reliable free-to-play healer; replace Baizhi with Verina or Shorekeeper if available.

Start with Yangyang to charge Concerto Energy; use her Ultimate to group enemies and Skill to deal damage before swapping., Switch to Rover (Spectro) once charged to trigger their Intro Skill and deal Spectro DMG on entry. Switching from Yangyang recovers some Resonance Energy for Rover briefly., Use Rover's Resonance Liberation for AoE Spectro DMG, then perform Basic/Heavy Attacks to charge Forte, cast their Skill, and continue charging Concerto Energy., Switch back to Yangyang (or to Support if healing is needed) and repeat the rotation until enemies are defeated.

Rover Flexible Sub-DPS Team

Rover is a flexible Sub-DPS option in mid/late-game rosters. Their Outro Skill's stasis is useful for controlling fights; Shorekeeper pairs well to sustain and grant Rover energy regen through her Stellarealm.

Begin with Shorekeeper and charge her Resonance Liberation; cast it to place Stellarealms and enable the Energy Regen buff (if Inherent Skill 2 is unlocked)., Switch to Rover (Spectro) to build toward their Resonance Liberation; cast when ready and then switch to the team's Main DPS. Rover's Outro Skill creates stasis, slowing enemies for ~3 seconds., Use the Main DPS's optimal combo while they are on-field to maximize damage during the slowed window and until Concerto Energy is charged., When Concerto Energy is full, switch back to Rover to leverage Stella realm energy regen buff if available; switch to Shorekeeper if healing is required., Repeat the rotation until all enemies are defeated.
