Lacrimosa is a strong Main DPS who applies a stacking Nightmare DoT to enemies she damages, and can copy an enemy's combat technique to use it herself. This flexibility lets her fit into many team compositions, though she performs best in DoT/Discord-focused teams.

- Nightmare's base duration is short (3s without Awakening upgrades), so the DoT must be constantly reapplied.
- Reaches her full potential only with dedicated Incantation/Psyche supports for Scorch, Nova, and Discord reactions.
- Skill copying requires learning techniques beforehand, otherwise she has no recorded skill to swap in.
- Best performance is tied to premium Arcs and Cartridges like The Last Rose and Diabolos.
Best Arcs
Bohemian Rose: Increases ATK by 14%. Grants 1 stack of Chaos Thorn each time the wearer deals DoT, increasing CRIT DMG by 6% per stack for 3s (up to 10 stacks, refreshable). Grants 10 stacks immediately when casting a Redirect Skill, and extends the Broken state of a Broken enemy by 3s when the wearer damages them.
Motor Candy: Increases ATK by 5% every 1s while the wearer is the active character, up to 5 stacks. Resets when the wearer leaves the field.
Inspiration Terminator: Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.

Best Teams
A DoT-focused composition built around Incantation characters for Scorch and stacking Nightmare damage, with a Psyche character to apply Nova. The team also doubles as a Discord team, which Lacrimosa thrives in since she deals an extra burst of damage whenever Discord is triggered.
Open by buffing the team with Haniel's Skill, then swap to an Incantation support (ideally Sakiri) to apply their buffs.
Build Cycle Energy on the Incantation support before swapping to Lacrimosa to trigger Scorch.
With Lacrimosa on field, keep attacking to stack Nightmare and ramp the enemy's DoT taken.
If Scorch is still active when Lacrimosa's Cycle Energy fills, swap to a Psyche character to apply Nova and trigger Discord, which lowers the Break bar and deals extra damage through her Discord Enhancement.
Skill Priority
Sweet and Sour (Basic Attack)
Raise after the Ultimate and Skill to support Nightmare stacking and combo damage.
Microwake (Support Skill)
Level her Support Skill last to increase damage when she enters the stage and uses it.
Working Day Judgement (Ultimate)
Prioritize the Ultimate first to improve Lacrimosa's overall damage output.
Morning Tomato (Skill)
Improving this Skill increases its damage output, so level it second.
How to Play
Lacrimosa is a flexible Main DPS who wins fights by keeping a stacking Nightmare DoT on enemies, copying enemy combat techniques, and triggering Scorch, Nova, and Discord reactions with her team. Cycle between buffing supports and her on-field damage windows while constantly reapplying Nightmare.
Rotations
- 1Haniel Skill -> Sakiri or Adler Skill -> Fill up Cycle Energy -> Swap to Lacrimosa (Scorch Trigger) -> Lacrimosa Skill -> Lacrimosa Basic Attack Combo (Stack Nightmare) -> Lacrimosa Ultimate -> Swap to Haniel (Nova and Discord Trigger) -> Repeat Rotation
Tips
- If you have a Psyche or Incantation character with full Cycle Energy, start combat on them so you can swap to Lacrimosa and immediately trigger Nova or Scorch.
- Before entering combat, swap Lacrimosa's Skill to one of her recorded skills so it is ready.
- Deal damage with Basic Attacks to apply Nightmare stacks; switch between Melee and Ranged mode based on the enemy and your comfort with dodging and Critical Ripostes.
- Use her Skill whenever it is available to deal damage and apply more Nightmare, then immediately Basic Attack to perform the combo's final hit.
- Use her Ultimate as soon as it is available for a large burst of damage and more Nightmare application.
- Apply Discord as often as possible to take advantage of Lacrimosa's Discord Enhancement.
- Nightmare lasts only about 3 seconds without the Awakening upgrade, so keep attacking to maintain uptime.
- Melee and Ranged Ultimates deal roughly equal total damage, but the Melee version's extra hits make it ideal for Crit Attacks.
