Best Echo Sets for

5pc

The 5-pc Molten Rift set straight up increases Changli's Fusion DMG. The damage increases even more after using a Resonance Skill - a perfect fit for Changli because Resonance Skill usage is part of her overall kit.

5pc

Changli has the option to use Moonlit Clouds when she fills in the Sub-DPS role in some teams. This, however, is rarely recommended over Molten Rift as you would still want to have Changli on a team for her damage rather than for the buffs she provides.

2pc
2pc

A great early game mixed set for Changli. We suggest to target a 5-pc Molten Rift in the future, but this would still work in the early game.

's Best Primary Echo

Passively increases Changli's Fusion DMG and Resonance Skill DMG. Best Echo to be used in her Main Slot, as it is less clunky to use than Inferno Rider.

The best early game option for Changli, especially when players cannot access Rinascita yet. Provides more damage than Nightmare: Inferno Rider. The downside to using this is that Echo Skill must be included in rotations for Changli to get the buff.

Impermanence Heron is Changli's best option when she is running Moonlit Clouds for a more supportive Sub-DPS role. Increases the damage dealt by the next Resonator.

Best Tips & Tricks for

Aim for at least 120% Energy Regen to comfortably use Resonance Liberation.
Use Nightmare: Inferno Rider for smoother rotations; Inferno Rider offers more damage but requires Echo Skill usage.
Prioritize upgrading Resonance Skill and Forte Circuit.
For free-to-play, Commando of Conviction is the best 4-star weapon option.
In substats, prioritize CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, then Energy Regen and Resonance Skill DMG Bonus.

Best Teams for

High Synergy Mono Fusion Team

Changli works best in a Mono Fusion team with Brant and Lupa, as their skills provide buffs to one another, with each member dealing good DPS per instance they are on-field. Their Outro Skills complement each other. * We start off with Lupa's Outro boosting Brant's Basic Attack DMG. * Then, Brant's Outro buffs Changli's Resonance Skill DMG. * Lastly, Changli closes the loop to increase Lupa's Resonance Liberation DMG with her Outro. With Brant providing sustain and damage, and Lupa's abundant Fusion-centric buffs, this team has a high ceiling for damage with their ability to be quick-swapped with each other in battle.

1. Initiate with Lupa and do her optimal combos. Cast her Liberation as soon as possible to activate Pack Hunt and Glory, and follow it up with Foebreaker., 2. Generate Wolflame and convert them into Wolfaith using Heavy Attacks. Once full, perform her enhanced Resonance Skill and switch out to Brant once her Concerto Energy is full., 3. Having Brant on-field, do his optimal rotations and activate Liberation immediately. This will also have Lupa do a Coordinated Attack with Set the Arena Ablaze., 4. Quickly build Bravo stacks and cast Returned from Ashes when available. Then, switch to Changli once his Concerto energy is full. This will also enhance Lupa's Pack Hunt effects., 5. With Changli's Intro Skill, you will immediately gain one Forte stack. Continue building her Forte stacks to 4 via her Resonance Skill and Basic Attacks. Then, activate her enhanced Heavy Attack., 6. Cast her Resonance Liberation to do a second enhanced Heavy Attack and switch out to Lupa once Changli's Outro is available. This will amplify Lupa's Fusion DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG by 10s., 7. Lastly, Lupa will perform an enhanced Intro Skill that will deal good damage to enemies., 8. From here, you can repeat the previous steps until all enemies are defeated in combat.

Changli Tune Break Mono Fusion Team

Changli has a secondary Mono Fusion team to consider with Lupa and Mornye. Compared to her team with Brant, this instead focuses on utilizing Mornye's general DMG buffs alongside faster Tune Breaks. Meanwhile, Lupa's max buffs continue to be applicable with three Fusion Resonators. The only downside to this team is the lack of damage that Brant previously provides, so you'll mostly focus on Changli being a hypercarry. Her relatively low DMG output makes this less ideal but is still viable, as compared to her premium Mono Fusion team.

1. Start combat with Mornye by filling her Rest Mass Energy with three Basic Attacks. Then, do a Heavy Attack to enter Wide Field Observation Mode., 2. In this state, perform three Basic Attacks followed by her Resonance Skill. During its animation, you can cancel its endlag with your Liberation, generating High Syntony Field upon casting., 3. Once her High Syntony Field is deployed, quickly cast a Heavy Attack and switch to Lupa afterwards via Outro., 4. After Lupa enters the field, cast two instances of her Resonance Skill followed by her Resonance Liberation., 5. Then, use her empowered attack, Foebreaker, followed by mid-air attacks to fill her Forte., 6. With her Wolflame Forte full, convert these into Wolfaith with her Mid-air and Heavy Attacks. Then, use her enhanced Resonance Skill and switch out to Changli once Outro is available., 7. With Changli's Intro Skill, you will immediately gain one Forte stack. Continue building her Forte stacks to 4 via her Resonance Skill and Basic Attacks. Then, activate her enhanced Heavy Attack., 8. Cast her Resonance Liberation to do a second enhanced Heavy Attack and switch out to Mornye once Changli's Outro is available., 9. From here, you can repeat the previous steps until all enemies are defeated in combat.

Changli Fusion Double DPS Team

This is an extremely versatile team that highlights how complementary Changli's and Brant's kits are; being able to provide team-wide buffs, while leveraging on both Resonator's Intro and Outro Skills. Shorekeeper, on the other hand, provides team-wide sustain, and her own buffs to further increase the team's DMG output.

1. Open with Shorekeeper, and use her Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill to generate Flare Star and Dim Star Butterflies. Aim to use her Resonance Liberation as soon as possible, before swapping out., 2. Swap Brant in, and gain enough Resonance Liberation energy but do not cast it yet, during this swap. The main aim of Brant's first swap is to fill his Liberation gauge, and also obtain max Bravo points to cast Returned From Ashes., 3. Once the Concerto Energy is already full, swap out to Changli to cast her Intro Skill and immediately gain a stack of Forte. Execute Changli's optimal combos to get 4 stacks of Forte in order to activate her enhanced Heavy Attack. Do this until her Resonance Liberation is ready to use., 4. After casting Changli's Resonance Liberation, use her enhanced Heavy Attack. At this point, the Concerto Energy should be fully charged again. Ideally, switch to Brant to boost his Fusion DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG., 5. Once Brant is on-field, quickly cast his Resonance Liberation, and do his quad-stage Mid-Air combos. End his Aflame state by casting Returned From Ashes., 6. Swapping to Shorekeeper with maximum Concerto Energy will cause her Intro Skill to detonate the Stellarealm. Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.

Changli General DPS Team

With Changli as the team's Main DPS, your goal is to use her Resonance Liberation as much as possible since it instantly provides 4 stacks of her Forte, allowing her to immediately use her enhanced Heavy Attack. With this, Zhezhi should be the team's Sub-DPS since she can buff Changli's enhanced Heavy Attack because it scales off Resonance Skill DMG. As an added bonus, Zhezhi can also do some Coordinated Attacks. Shorekeeper is the ideal support for this team. Not only will her healing keep the team alive, her Stellarealm and her Outro Skill can also provide great damage buffs for Changli.

1. Open the fight with Shorekeeper to start charging her Resonance Liberation and Concerto Energy. Use her Resonance Liberation as soon as it is available., 2. Once the Concerto Energy is fully charged, switch into Zhezhi to cast her Intro Skill, upgrading the Stellarealm to its second stage and enhancing its buffs., 3. Use Zhezhi's optimal combo to summon 3 Phantasmic Imprints, and continue the combo to charge her own Resonance Liberation and fill up Concerto Energy again., 4. Activate Zhezhi's Resonance Liberation, then swap to Changli with full Concerto Energy to receive both Zhezhi's Outro Skill and one stack for her Forte Gauge from Changli's Intro Skill., 5. Rotate through Changli's combos on-field, maxing out her Forte Gauge and using her Enhanced Heavy Attacks and Resonance Liberation whenever possible., 6. Charge Concerto Energy to max while doing damage with Changli, then swap to the Shorekeeper when it is full to detonate the Stellarealm for a burst of damage. Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.

Changli Tune Break Team

Changli is viable in a Tune Break setup with Lynae and Mornye together, as both of these units significantly amplify All-Type DMG usable on any general DPS.

1. Start with Mornye and do three Basic Attacks to fill her Forte. Then, cast her Heavy Attack to enter Wide Field Observation Mode., 2. In the air, do three Basic Attacks followed by her Resonance Skill. During the Resonance Skill's animation, cancel its endlag with her Liberation, generating High Syntony Field in the process., 3. Once High Syntony Field is deployed, cast her enhanced Heavy Attack and switch to Lynae via Outro Skill., 4. As Lynae enters the field via Intro, immediately cast her Resonance Skill to gain max Overflow., 5. Then, use Liberation to generate a team-wide DMG buff followed by her Basic Attack immediately after., 6. With Overflow full, hold her Heavy Attack until her Lumiflow Forte gauge reaches max stacks. Then, let go to deal damage and enter Kaleidoscopic Parade., 7. In this state, do three jumps for her Polychrome Leaps, which will generate three True Color stacks., 8. With three stacks, do a plunging attack to deal big damage, then switch out to Changli., 9. With Changli's Intro, you will immediately gain one Forte stack. Continue building her Forte stacks to 4 via her Resonance Skill and Basic Attacks. Then, cast her enhanced Heavy Attack., 10. Next, cast her Resonance Liberation for a second enhanced Heavy Attack before switching to Mornye., 11. Repeat until no enemies are left on-field.

Changli Free-To-Play (F2P) Double DPS Team

If you do not have Encore or Brant, Chixia is your next best option as the other Main DPS. Similar to the premium Double DPS team above, the team boosts both Chixia and Changli's damage through Baizhi's abilities When Changli is on the field, aim to charge her Forte as quickly as possible so Chixia can swap in to deal damage!

1. Baizhi starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy using her optimal combos., 2. Once the Concerto Energy is already full, use Baizhi's Resonance Skill to drop Euphonia before swapping out to Changli. When Changli is on the field, do not forget to pick up the Euphonia to boost her ATK., 3. Changli immediately gains 1 stack of her Forte due to her Intro Skill. Then, execute Changli's optimal combos to get 4 stacks of Forte in order to activate her enhanced Heavy Attack. Do this until her Resonance Liberation is ready to use., 4. After casting Changli's Resonance Liberation, use her enhanced Heavy Attack. Swap out to Chixia, if the Concerto Energy is full. Changli's Outro Skill will boost Chixia's Fusion DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG., 5. Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.

Changli General Dual DPS Teams

There is some viability with Changli in general dual DPS teams outside the Fusion attribute. She pairs well with characters that have similar long animations, making quickswapping viable during these periods for a more balanced out DPS share between two damage dealers. This is highly challenging, however, and there isn't a specific rotation to this, as you mostly want to animation cancel their movesets to prevent DPS loss.

Quickswap playstyle with animation cancelling. There is no specific rotation; adapt to team composition.
