Best Echo Sets for

5pc

Sierra Gale is Jiyan's best Echo set as he benefits from the increase in Aero DMG provided by the 2-pc and 5-pc bonuses. Together with Nightmare: Feilian Beringal, he gets two more passive buffs to his Aero DMG and Heavy Attack DMG Bonuses.

2pc
2pc

Mixing in a 2pc Lingering Tunes provides a good increase in ATK while keeping the Aero DMG bonus from Sierra Gale. Do this if you're still farming for a full set of Sierra Gale with great sub-stats.

's Best Primary Echo

Increases Jiyan's overall Aero DMG and Heavy Attack DMG. The perfect main echo for buffing Jiyan's attacks as much as possible. Use Feilian Beringal while you don't have access to Rinascita.

As an early game option, Jiyan's best main echo should be Feilian Beringal as it provides decent Aero DMG and Heavy Attack DMG Bonuses after its attack string. A downside to this echo is its long attack animation. Recommended to replace with its Nightmare version once Rinascita is accessible.

An early game echo for Jiyan, perfect for just dealing damage when needed. Change to a better echo towards the endgame.

Use Feilian Beringal (or Nightmare version) for best damage; replace with Nightmare once available.
Pair Jiyan with support characters that provide Aero DMG bonus or ATK buffs.

Best Teams for

Jiyan Heavy Attack Boost Team

Jiyan's best team is with Iuno as she is the premier Heavy Attack DMG buffer, providing him a huge 50% amplification for this damage type. She also deals high damage for a sub-DPS apart from her healing ability, making her the ideal partner for Jiyan. As for the third slot, you ideally want to run Shorekeeper due to her general damage buffs to the entire team while also offering amazing sustain. You can, however, run other support healers like Verina if you don't have Shorekeeper.

Start the battle with Shorekeeper, and go through her combos before casting Stellarealm. Once her Concerto Gauge is filled, switch to Iuno., With Iuno on-field, cast Liberation to fill her Forte immediately. Once her Forte is full, jump to enter the New Moon state, then do three Basic Attacks and two Enhanced Resonance Skills to consume Sentience and increase their DMG significantly., Once her Concerto is full, switch to Jiyan via her Outro Skill to give Heavy Attack DMG amplification., Next, use Jiyan's Resonance Liberation to enter Qingloong Mode and deal a lot of DMG with his Resonance Skill and Heavy Attacks while under Shorekeeper and Iuno's buffs., Charge Concerto Energy once more by continuing to fight as Jiyan. Once it's full, swap to Shorekeeper to detonate her Stellarealm. Repeat the steps until the enemy has fallen.

Jiyan Aero Erosion Team

Jiyan works well with Ciaccona and Aero Rover to make a full Aero team. The team uses Aero Erosion to debuff enemies while providing significant DMG buffs to the entire party. Ciaccona inflicts ample Aero Erosion stacks to enemies, and gives multiple Aero DMG buffs via her kit. This can be maximized with Jiyan, a straight-forward Aero DPS with excellent grouping and AoE attacks. As for Rover (Aero), they act as both as a secondary sub-DPS and support to the team, being able to deal damage quickly while providing heals to other Resonators.

Initiate with Ciaccona and generate Ensemble Sylphs while applying Erosion stacks on to enemies. When her Concerto is filled, switch to Aero Rover., Have Aero Rover do their internal rotations and deal damage quickly. Once available, cast Unbound Flow and switch to Ciaccona once again once Outro is up to increase the Erosion stack limit., With Ciaccona on-field again, apply more Erosion stacks with her skills. Make sure to perform a Solo Concert while doing her combos to boost Aero DMG for the team., Once her Forte bar is filled, cast a Heavy Attack to group enemies together and deal good damage. Then, cast her Resonance Liberation to deal off-field damage before switching to Jiyan., Upon entering the field, have Jiyan cast Resonance Liberation. When in Qingloong Mode, maximize the Aero DMG buffs provided by both Ciaccona and Aero Rover and deal high AoE damage against enemies., Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Jiyan Free-to-Play Team

This free-to-play team composition relies on Yangyang providing Resonance Energy for Jiyan so that he can use his Resonance Liberation sooner. Your third slot can be Baizhi or any other healer if you have them.

Yangyang starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy until the other Resonator's icons glow up. She can use her Resonance Liberation to group up small enemies., Once Jiyan is fully charged, you can switch to him so he can use his Intro Skill. Switching from Yangyang to Jiyan will restore the latter's Resonance Energy., Use Jiyan's Resonance Liberation to enter Qingloong Mode and deal a lot of DMG with his Resonance Skill and Heavy Attacks., Switch to Yangyang again once the Concerto Energy has fully charged up. If you need healing, switch to Baizhi and use their healing skill for a quick heal., Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.
