Build Guides
Complete build guides for every hunter. Best arcs, cartridges, teams, skill priorities, and gameplay tips.
Linko
NatureLinko is an Anima Sub-DPS who deals damage through Synced Strikes while supporting from off-field. She builds and spends Modulation, chooses an ally to Sync with, and repeatedly triggers Follow-up attacks as teammates cycle skills. She provides strong off-field pressure with very little field time and adds bonuses to Hexed and Follow-up-focused teams.
Zankou
IncantationZankou is an S-Tier Incantation Main DPS who swaps between her Reality and Illusion states to spread damage-over-time effects and keep constant, unrelenting pressure on enemies. Her kit rewards proper damage-window setup and capitalizes on follow-up attacks during Illusion. The bulk of her output comes from Incantation damage, Heartwrench DoT pressure, and enhanced attacks after shifting states, so her best build balances CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, Incantation DMG%, Universal DMG%, and ATK% to maximize both direct and sustained damage at the same time.
Iroi
NatureIroi is an Anima Support who keeps the team alive with healing, revivals, and teamwide support. She fits teams with aggressive Main DPS units that stay on-field, using ATK% and Cycle Intensity to increase her healing, buffing, and Ultimate uptime. With Speedy Hedgehog, she also provides a teamwide ATK buff after her Ultimate.
Chaos
LakshanaChaos is a Main DPS who wants to stay on the field and dish out massive damage. His Skill applies Warrant to enemies, making them take increased damage from him, while his attacks build up his Crime gauge. Once Crime is full, holding the Basic Attack unleashes a powerful empowered 2-hit attack — his main damage source. He also empowers the Remora reaction, causing a burst of damage when Remora expires, so the longer Remora lasts the bigger the payoff. Most of his damage revolves around managing Warrant and Crime, but his kit is very straightforward and easy to pilot.
Lacrimosa
NatureLacrimosa is a strong Main DPS who applies a stacking Nightmare DoT to enemies she damages, and can copy an enemy's combat technique to use it herself. This flexibility lets her fit into many team compositions, though she performs best in DoT/Discord-focused teams.
Hotori
CosmosHotori is an S-tier Sub-DPS with Burst DPS capabilities. She records her teammates' Skill casts and recasts them with her Ultimate. She does not require energy for her Ultimate; instead, her Non-Closed Timepiece charges over time, letting her use her Ultimate roughly every 20 seconds (30 seconds if she uses her Skill). This makes her damage reliable and consistent, as her rotation timing is predictable.
Nanally
NatureNanally is a top-tier Anima Main DPS who excels at consistent damage via Basic Attacks and follow-up attacks. Her Skill boosts CRIT DMG and allows wall-running, adding exploration and vertical combat utility. She remains one of the most flexible and dependable Main DPS options thanks to high damage, easy playstyle, and versatile team options.
Sakiri
IncantationSakiri is a universal support who brings reliable crowd-control through her held Skill and a hefty Team ATK% buff through her Ultimate. When paired with her best-in-slot Arc and Cartridge, that ATK bonus is amplified even further. Her flexible kit makes her welcome on most teams alongside nearly any DPS unit, which is what earns her S-tier placement.
Baicang
IncantationBaicang is an Incantation Main DPS who draws damage from several sources in his kit, chaining multiple combos to cover both burst and sustained damage. His combo-heavy moveset is powerful but demanding to execute, which keeps him at A-tier behind more convenient S-rank carries.
Hathor
LakshanaHathor is a Burst DPS who deals heavy Lakshana DMG with her Ultimate and empowered Skill. Stacking Express Delivery Power charges her Ultimate and amplifies her burst windows, but her damage depends on managing Skill stacks and timing her empowered Skill casts.
Zero
CosmosEsper Zero is a burst-oriented Sub-DPS who frontloads damage into their Ultimate and Skill, giving them strong burst potential as they naturally stack Awakening effects over time. Because that burst window is also their main and usually best damage source, Zero shines as a carry-through-the-game Sub-DPS rather than an endgame hypercarry, which lands them in A tier.
Chiz
CosmosChiz is a strong DPS character who continuously deals Cosmos DMG with a kit built around Grain management. The more Grain she has, the stronger her attacks become. Her stock-market-like mechanics may seem confusing at first, but they become easy to manage and let her dispatch enemies with ease.
Daffodill
ChaosDaffodill is an A-tier Break-Burst DPS whose kit is built around Break Intensity. She is currently the only character who can function this way, dealing respectable damage that peaks when the enemy's weakness is about to break. Her main tradeoff is that her timings and damage windows are strict.
Jiuyuan
NatureJiuyuan is an Anima-based burst DPS who only comes on-field to perform her combo when her energy is full and her special Rose Pact Bullets are maxed out. Her quickswap playstyle, frontloaded Ultimate, and Blossom enhancements make her a versatile A-tier unit who can function as both a DPS and a support.
Fadia
PsycheFadia is an HP-scaling tank and sub-DPS who mitigates damage for her team by redirecting part of the damage taken to herself. When her HP drops low enough, she can use an empowered Ultimate that deals more damage and heals more of her HP. She is a strong survival unit, but managing her HP threshold takes practice.
Haniel
PsycheHaniel is a Buffer who increases her team's ATK and can also act as an off-field sub-DPS by dealing damage while switched out. Beyond her buffs and off-field damage, she does not offer much else, so you will usually apply her buffs and then quickly swap to another teammate.
Mint
NatureMint is a good single-target DPS with a strong, low-cooldown Skill that can also be used to parry enemy attacks. She deals high damage and can spam her Skill, but she is quickly outclassed by other DPS characters later in the game.
Adler
IncantationAdler is a support character who provides DEF-scaling shields and Incantation DoT damage. He is placed in B-tier because his damage output is lower than dedicated DPS units, but his shielding makes him a valuable defensive option.
Aurelia
PsycheAurelia is a Main DPS who deals damage in a unique way: besides attacking normally like other characters, she can also keep dealing damage while moving quickly, making her highly mobile in a fight. The trade-off is that she struggles to damage mobile bosses, and her out-of-combat mobility is impaired — she can glide easily but cannot climb walls.
Edgar
CosmosEdgar is a healer who can top up the party's HP with his Skill and Ultimate. His healing is very stationary: his Skill roots him in place, and his Ultimate creates a fixed healing area, making it hard to keep allies healthy against mobile bosses and enemies.
Skia
LakshanaSkia is a Lakshana frontline DPS built for long fights, where he can get the most out of Fang Thrust. His problem is that Fang Thrust is clunky and inconsistent — he needs to keep it applied on an enemy, and he often loses it when he swaps off to restart the team's rotation. That lands him in C-tier, since other DPS units hold consistent rotations far more easily.
