Best Echo Sets for

This is Hiyuki's best set, as it provides a huge increase to her Glacio DMG and Crit. Rate. While a bit more conditional to use than other sets, Hiyuki maximizes it with her Glacio Chafe application.

5pc

An alternative set to Hiyuki is the general Glacio set, Freezing Frost, since it has an easy-to-access DMG bonus for her. If you have a lot of Echoes of this set, use this early on while farming for her best set.

's Best Primary Echo

Provides a passive 12% Glacio and Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus, which Hiyuki both scales off. Deals decent Glacio DMG once cast. Summon-type Echo, making it easy-to-weave into her combos.

If you're running the Freezing Frost set, Lampylumen Myriad is the best option. It provides a stackable Glacio DMG buff that Hiyuki benefits from, but is only usable after the Echo Skill. The Echo Skill also provides high Glacio DMG against enemies. Harder to use due to being a transform-type Echo.

Best Teams for

Hiyuki Glacio Chafe Team

Hiyuki's best-in-slot team is with Lucilla and Chisa, as both units buff her kit significantly with her mainly revolving around the Glacio Chafe mechanic. Lucilla is the best sub-DPS Hiyuki can ask for due to her excellent Glacio Chafe application and Glacio-centric DMG buffs. Meanwhile, Chisa is the premier healer support for Negative Status DPS units with her ability to increase the max stack limit of Glacio Chafe by 3. Furthermore, Hiyuki's Inherent Skill has great synergy with Chisa's Havoc Bane application, increasing her damage significantly. With the addition of Lucilla, Hiyuki can also fully activate her Snow Rust passive, which lets her gain an extra 30% Glacio Bite DMG Amplification. This team is the only possible composition to let her unlock this mechanic!

1. Start with Chisa and do one Resonance Skill followed by a Basic Attack string. Then, cast Resonance Liberation to max out her Forte., 2. Next, cast Resonance Skill followed by holding the attack button until Chisa's Forte is depleted. You may then switch out to Lucilla via Outro., 3. After Lucilla enters the field via Intro, hold her Resonance Skill to quickly get three Photo stacks. Once available, cast Resonance Liberation., 4. Once Lucilla is in the Reminiscence mode, hold Heavy Attack until her Forte is depleted. Then, cast Echo Skill and switch to Hiyuki via Outro., 5. With Hiyuki, hold Heavy Attack to fill her Forte and wait until the attack string is completed., 6. Once Resonance Liberation is available, cast it to enter the Foreclaimed Self state., 7. In this form, build up Hiyuki's Forte gauge by performing 5 Basic Attacks. Then, press Resonance Skill., 8. After the first Resonance Skill, hold the second Resonance Skill cast to immediately enter the Iai stance, then do three instances of Basic Attack - Iai., 9. Lastly, perform a Heavy Attack and follow it up with Hiyuki's Resonance Liberation. Then, switch back to Chisa via Outro., 10. Repeat until no enemies are left on the field.

Hiyuki Tune Break Team

Another team that Hiyuki performs well in is the Tune Break team alongside Lynae and Mornye. The general DMG buffs that Mornye and Lynae provides is funneled towards Hiyuki, who can apply and consume Glacio Chafe on her own. The comp also benefits Hiyuki with Lynae giving a Tune Break Boost and Mornye increasing the Off-Tune Buildup Rate, making Tune Breaks trigger more frequently while hitting a lot stronger. Furthermore, casting Tune Break allows Hiyuki to skip some of her Basic Attacks for faster rotations.

1. Begin as Mornye and fill her Forte with three Basic Attacks. Then, do a Heavy Attack to enter her aerial state, Wide Field Observation Mode., 2. In the air, perform three Basic Attacks followed by Resonance Skill. While under animation, cancel the endlag with Liberation, generating High Syntony Field in the process., 3. With High Syntony Field deployed, cast Heavy Attack and switch to Lynae via Outro., 4. As Lynae enters with her Intro, cast Resonance Skill to fill her Forte gauge. Then, cast Resonance Liberation before holding her Heavy Attack until she reaches max Lumiflow, indicated by her secondary Forte gauge. Afterwards, let go until the attack connects., 5. Next, jump into the air three times before pressing Basic Attack to plunge into the ground. With Concerto full, switch to Hiyuki via Outro., 6. Once Hiyuki is on-field, hold Heavy Attack to fill her Forte, then wait until her bow attack string ends., 7. Afterwards, press Resonance Liberation to enter the Foreclaimed Self state., 8. In this mode, build up her Forte gauge by doing 5 Basic Attacks, followed by pressing the first Resonance Skill., 9. Then, hold the second Resonance Skill to instantly enter the Iai Stance, which you can follow up with three instances of Basic Attack - Iai. Then, do a Heavy Attack followed by her Resonance Liberation., 10. With Concerto full, switch back to Mornye via Outro. Entering via Intro lets Mornye skip step 1., 11. Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Hiyuki Hypercarry Team

Hiyuki works in an alternative composition featuring Chisa as the sub-DPS, while Shorekeeper as the main healer support of the team. In this composition, Shorekeeper's main goal is to provide multiple DMG buffs to the entire team by deploying Stellarealm on the field and exiting via her Outro. Meanwhile, Chisa acts as the sub-DPS of the team, providing grouping capabilities with her skills, decent Havoc DMG, and an increase to the max stack limit of all Negative Statuses. Additionally, Chisa's application of Havoc Bane through her kit significantly reduces enemies' DEF stats, ensuring that Hiyuki deals as much damage as possible.

1. Start with Shorekeeper and go through her optimal combos to generate Resonance and Concerto energy. Once available, deploy Stellarealm via her Liberation and exit with Outro., 2. Switch to Chisa and have her cast three Basic Attacks immediately after her Intro Skill. Then, cast Resonance Liberation to fill her Forte gauge to max., 3. Once Chisa's Forte is full, use Resonance Skill to change her kit into her Sawring attacks. You may hold the Resonance Skill to group enemies together., 4. With Sawring active, simply hold Chisa's Heavy Attack until all attacks are consumed. You may then switch out to Hiyuki via Outro., 5. After Hiyuki enters via Intro, hold Heavy Attack until her bow attack string ends., 6. Then, press Resonance Liberation to enter the Foreclaimed Self state. In this state, do five Basic Attacks, followed by pressing the first Resonance Skill., 7. Next, hold Hiyuki's second Resonance Skill to instantly enter the Iai Stance. You can follow this up with three instances of Basic Attack - Iai., 8. With Hiyuki's Forte gauge glowing, do a Heavy Attack followed by Resonance Liberation. You can hold Hiyuki's Liberation cast to save or consume her Snowforged Blade stacks., 9. As Hiyuki's Concerto is full, switch back to Shorekeeper via Outro to detonate Stellarealm., 10. Repeat until all enemies are defeated.
