Mavuika runs on Fighting Spirit instead of Energy, so Energy Recharge substats are deadweight.
Fighting Spirit builds when a Natlan ally spends Nightsoul Points, or when the active character lands Normal Attacks.
Only half the Burst gauge is required to cast, but damage scales with banked Fighting Spirit — fill it first.
Easier melt line: 4CA > jump > 3CA > Final Slash. Practiced line: 3CA > Final Slash > dash > 3CA > Final Slash.
Optimal on-field for Vaporize, Kaeya melt, or reactionless (Pyro mono / Overload): 5[2CA > dash].
With a permanent Cryo/Hydro aura, 6[CA > dash > NA] performs better and breaks shields well.

DPS
On-field Mavuika deals heavy Pyro damage from her motorcycle, Flamestrider. Best with Cryo teammates: closing in on Flamestrider triggers Melt reliably, or trigger Vaporize with Furina, Yelan, or Mona. Damage depends on Fighting Spirit, a character-exclusive mechanic (see ability tips). That constraint also makes another Natlan unit ideal, with Citlali and Xilonen as the top picks.

Weapon choices (rankings assume Bennett on the team):
- Beacon of the Reed Sea: assumes no damage taken.
- Verdict: assumes 1 stack.
- The Unforged: assumes dynamic stacks, shielded.
- Serpent Spine: assumes 3 stacks. At R5 it approaches Beacon of the Reed Sea in Melt and Verdict in Vaporize; at max R5 stacks it beats Redhorn Stonethresher. Her many CRIT Rate sources make overcapping easy.
- Rainslasher: matches Serpent Spine R1 in Vaporize.
- Tidal Shadow: assumes she receives healing.

Artifact sets
- Marechaussee Hunter (4): only with Furina; slightly behind Obsidian Codex (4).
- Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City (4): her best off-field set when no other teammate can hold it.
- Deepwood Memories (4): support option when the team has meaningful Dendro damage (e.g. Kinich).

Artifact stats
An Elemental Mastery Sands usually beats an ATK% Sands unless she is not in an amplifying-reaction team (Vaporize/Melt). With heavy external Elemental Mastery buffs such as Instructor (4) or Sucrose, EM loses some value.

SUPPORT
With less field time she provides off-field Pyro application and damage, and her A4 passive gives the onfielder a potent DMG% buff. She still wants to Burst in teams that reliably generate large amounts of Fighting Spirit, for both her damage and buffing.
